This is our 3rd year getting season tickets to Illini football. We took the girls to a 6 pm football game on Saturday. Our cars arrived in Champaign at around 2 pm, and we got back to our house in Bloomington at 11:30 pm! The girls did great, especially Kayla, who was SO good for such a LONG day! Brian went against our team, and wore red for Illinois State (although, that is where we actually went to school). Kayla wore her pink Illinois jersey, and Sarah wore her future Illini t'shirt. It was so fun to grill out, play bags, and throw the football around. The only bad thing is Kayla got sick in the car on the way home...yuck! I think all day people were giving her chips and cookies, and of course she gladly accepted them, so it finally caught up with her:-) Fall and football season is finally here!
