Life and work can be so tiring! It is always about the results you produce, and not how hard you try.
It is funny how God gives you things right when you need them. Here is an encouraging excerpt I read today from "The Blessing:"
"In pure, unvarnished language, that's the way the world measures success. Not in how a life is lived, or by the sincerity of our efforts. But in the bottom line, in measurable success or failure according to worldly standards.
Isn't it great to know that when it comes to our acceptance from Christ, we're not on the performance track? Certainly, He calls us to do our best. To lay down our lives if need be. But Christ's bottom line is love, not results."
I am so relieved to know God loves me no matter what!
